§ About · The Long Version
An old congregation, still showing up.
— Rooted in the Reformed tradition. Centered on Christ. Open to all.
A congregation that gathers in worship and serves in love.
Thomas Presbyterian Church has served the Eighty Four community for generations — long enough that grandparents remember being baptized here, and long enough that the hymnals have to be reglued from time to time.
We are a congregation in the Presbyterian Church (USA) tradition — a community shaped by scripture, prayer, and a shared commitment to following Jesus Christ. Our worship is reverent and unhurried. Our fellowship is unfussy. Our mission reaches from the food pantry in the parking lot to partners across the world.
Most of all, we hope you’ll know there’s a place for you here. Not in the abstract — an actual pew, with a hymnal on it, waiting.
§ 02 · The Shape of Things
Three plain things we try to do well.
What we believe
Centered on Jesus Christ, guided by scripture, shaped by the historic Reformed faith. We use the Book of Confessions, and we take questions seriously.
How we worship
Sundays at 10 AM — hymns, prayer, scripture, sacrament, and a sermon that aims to be honest more than clever. Communion is open to all the baptized.
How we serve
Through deacons, missions, Food Helpers, and a Christian Life Center whose doors stay open to neighbors, scouts, sports, and anyone needing a room.
And so —
Come and see for yourself.
A paragraph on a website can only get you so far. The rest is best done in person, on a Sunday, with coffee.
